'Always Dream Big' page layout

I had so much fun making this one! I've always admired Finnabear's scrapbooking style - but I've never attempted to try it. Well I bit the bullet! I brought her 12x12 'Dreamer Collection' (from 7 Dots Studio) ages ago, so I decided to use some of it LOL!!!

I've collected alot of metal trinkety things to use over the last couple of years. Things like washers, buttons, sprockets, studs, paper clips, safety pins, mini bottle caps, metal flowers etc.

What I did was I glued them all down with clear tacky craft glue, & then painted over with a light coat of gesso. Once that dried, I sprayed with homemade glimmer mist & Mr Huey's spray.
REMEMBER - to put a piece of paper or something over your photo to stop it from getting sprayed!!!

My Version of Project Life :)

If been looking at purchasing / making a Project Life album for sometime, I keep putting it off for  a few reasons. I have read a few blogs, & found that after awhile it becomes a chore to keep it up to date & I wasn't keen on purchasing a whole new scrapbooking kit / style. So, to scratch my creative itch to do something like PL, I came up with this double layout. I found some really cute free printables from 'Miss Tina' & I used some of her elements to personalize my own cards.

I did these in photoshop & printed them as photos. I used kraft cardstock & using a template of the cards, I traced around them with a pencil to work out my placing. I then used a sewing machine to stitch in my grid first & then rubbed out my pencil lines. Once I'd done that I started sticking down my photos, elements & did my journalling :)

Latest scrappy creations....

Hi Scrappers!! These pages I have created over the last couple of weeks at home, doodling around at the coffee table (instead of my craft room LOL) in front of the TV. I'm one of those people that can't sit still - my hands ALWAYS have to be busy. So all these layouts feature my best creation - my little man Riley!! So take a look & thanks for stopping by :)

Craft Day pages

I went to a Craft Day on Sunday with a group of ladies. I had a blast (almost like being at a scrap retreat LOL). We spent the scrapbooking, talking, eating - the usual he he. I only achieved to finish 3 pages - but I am really happy that I got through that many, as I've hardly had a chance to do any in the last few months.
So here are the pages I created :)

'At The Park'

'Cheeky'

'Riley' 8 Months Old
