Camp Mojo Retreat 2014
Hunter Valley NSW
I am a bit slow at blogging this, but better late than never ROFL.
This was the second Mojo retreat I had attended. It is solely about
scrapping with my favourite peeps for me! Here's some highlights:

Silly me can up with the 'brilliant idea' to make Holi powder so we could do
our own 'No Run Colour Run'! We had a blast!!!! So much fun - I can't wait to see
the rest of the photos. The fabulous Jen Hall took these photos!

Aparently we offended a few people for not including them -
this was organised amongst friends as a creative photoshoot & was never going to
be for everyone...

 A 6ft table all to yourself - you can't complain ;)

Here's a couple of layouts I did (there wasn't many LOL - I talked too much)
'Adorable You'
The awesome Eb van der Starre made
this one for me!!
I did 2 classes while I was there. This is the layout I did
in Ebony van der Starre's class...
'Today & Everyday'
This one was even left of my comfort zone - but I had a
blast!!! This was Lisa Oxley's class.
'Be Bold'

'Why fit in when YOU were
born to stand out'
Here's one I created a little while ago. I loved making these!!
Lots of messy fun...

Giving my Scrappin' karma a boost!!
I made these for a couple of special girls, who inspire me sooo much
I wanted to do something in return! I gave these to them at Camp Mojo & it
was so humbling to see the joy on their faces when I gave them these :)

This one is for my awesome friend, Lauren Hender...
& this one is for another awesome scrappy friend
Ebony van der Starre...

First share over at 2Crafty Chipboard

So this is exciting - my first share with you all as part of the
2Crafty Chipboard Team. I hope you like it &
I can't wait to keep sharing my creations with you all.

I had a lot of fun creating this layout! I'm very big on circles at
the moment & I put them EVERYWHERE...

'You Rock'
So the chipboard pieces I picked from the range of 2Crafty Chipboard,
where perfect for what I wanted to use on this.
I've used the below pieces:

Circles (6x6 sheet)
Circular Panel
 You - Loopy Font

With the assorted sized circles from the 6x6 sheet,
I have prepped them first using some gesso. As the chipboard
is quite porous, I needed to seal it before adding my colour.
So it stayed vibrant. I've then used a few different coloured
Faber Castell Gelatos to colour my chipboard.

With the Circular Panel, I've cut a strip off & layered it behind
my photo. I've also put a piece of it at the bottom to give my layout
more focal points of interest. I haven't coloured these pieces at all,
as with all the bright elements on my layout, I wanted a neutral colour as well.

I have painted the You - Loopy Font with gesso.

I hoped I've inspired you to go create something awesome!
I will be back over at the 2Crafty Blog in September with my next share.

Bloom Girl August Challenge

Bloom girls have their first brand new challenge! They will have a monthly challenge
with a new Inspirational Challenge each month. You will be inspired by the amazing
design team throughout the month with a variety of different projects.

This Challenge will be open to any type of crafters, whether you scrap book,
make cards, paint, draw, mixed media the choice is yours! You don't even have to
use a Bloom Girl Stamp in your project to play! How awesome is that!

For our August they have a gorgeous color palate that Jamie has put together.
You can use all colors, some colors or simply tell them how this color scheme has inspired you...

This is my entry as a Guest DT. I'm still waiting to get some Bloom Girl supplies to play with. I have used another stamp from the Prima Doll collection.

'You're Weird'

You will have until August 31st to enter this challenge and for a
chance to win a little something special from Jamie Dougherty! :)

Scrap The Boys - August Challenge
This month's challenge at Scrap The Boys is 'Profiling'.
I wanted to just note down random things about Riley atm.

I've also used washi tape & paper scraps to create my background.

'Riley Joseph'

 Close ups...

Make sure you head over to STB & have a go at this month's challenge :)

Scrap The Boys - July Challenge

Scrap The Boys - July Challenge

I'm a bit slack & forgot to publish this post last month :/
Last month's challenge at Scrap The Boys was 'Big Boy Toys'.
Riley absolutely LOVES to sit on our lap & help drive the car.
***Please note he ever does this on a private driveway on my Dad's property.

Here's my layout:
'Mummy Me Drive?'

Close ups... I've even made a QR code with a little video of him driving :)
