'Messy Moments'

I love this photo. My little man is such a poser & I just couldn't resist with this one! I couldn't believe how much food he had on his face & not eaten. I created this layout for 'Words or Whatever'.
The product used was the 'Messy Moments' title WOW1705.
With this one I painted the word 'MESSY'with gesso & then traced around with a black pen. With the 'moments' I used a permanent marker to colour in.

I love the bright colours & clean lines in this one. I used all scraps (besides the backing sheet) to create this one. Other things I used were, washi tape (of course), shipping tags, buttons, bakers twine, dymo labeller, page tabs (which I make) & a black pen for doodling.

'You Are 100% Boy'

I'm on a roll with these bright coloured/minimalist layouts!! I've found a new love, & it's being able to make an interesting page with a few great embellishments that make your photo pop!! Which is the whole point. I heard a funny definition of scrapbooking awhile ago & it was "Scrapbooking - spending $50 to make a 15c photo look good", which I totally agree on in some aspects. It can get quite expensive if your adding things like flowers, bling, resin bits etc.
I was one of those people...

I once added that many flowers to a page - it wouldn't fit into my album (which I've since heard being called 'Prima Vomit' LOL). It was then I realised, that I couldn't afford to scrap every page like that. I'd end up needing a new album every 5 to 6 pages!!!
My ingredient list for this page is:
WOW mini banners
WOW 100% Boy
WOW custom made 6x6 Hexagon AltaMatz
Handmade star embellishment (by me)
Pearl bling
sequins
KC mini alphas
Handmade shipping tags
Watercolour paint
sewing machine
Flutterby Design page tabs
Washi tape
buttons
flair badge
KC stamp & rub ons
KC paper
black pen
TH tiny stapler

NEET'S WEEK - 'Riley's Toys'

Well here I am sharing again! This week I've got a couple more layouts to share with you.
Fun little layout I did of Riley playing with his toys.
I've used the WOW Mini Cog Pack (WOW1568) & the Cog Set Plain (WOW729).
As the layout has heaps of colour on it, I left these al natural to tie in with the kraft colour.

 Neet's Week - 'Grins & Giggles'

Back with another layout from my stash. I really do love this title! It's so fun & quirky - just like the photos I've captured of Riley. I've used copic markers, watercolours (I love my watercolours!) & a white gel pen to colour my title.

Neet's Week - 'My Favourite Noise'

My favourite noise in the whole wide world, is listening to my 2 boys giggling  playing!
After a crappy day, this is the thing that makes me all warm & fuzzy inside.
WOW products I've used for this one are
- Electronic Games Pack WOW893
- 2013 Pack WOW1741
- Classic Alphabet Uppercase WOW 1384E

I've used watercolour paints & copic markers to colour in my chipboard
Watercolours are good for using on the chipboard that has detail on them, like the ipod did. As it's not as thick as acrylic paints & you can still make out whats under it. I then used a fine black pen to go over top of the detail to make it stand out.

Neet's Week - 'Learn To Swim'

So I'm back again to share some of my WOW projects with you all.
Make sure to stop back here throughout the week, to see the rest :)

This was our first swmming lesson. Riley is only 6mths here & it's funny how quickly their little faces change! I love his chubby little cheeks LOL!

Products I used were: 6x6 Chevron Narrow Altamatz ALTA023
6x6 Random Circles Altamatz ALTA051
'Learn To Swim' title RWL100130

I love the chevron Altamatz (it's my favourite - can you tell LOL)! As with previous layouts, I have used watercolours with it & then traced around with black pen. With the circles Altamatz I have used acrylic paint & then scribbled around the dots with a black pen also. With the title 'Learn To Swim', I fussy painted the little fishy with acrylic paint, then went back over with black pen to emphaize the detail. With the lettering, I coloured that in with a black permanent marker & went over it with Glossy Accents.

Other bits I have also used are shipping tags, pages tabs, sewing machine, paper scraps, bakers twine, EK Success Notepad edge punch & a black pen for doodling.
