Baby's Firsts Mini Album

Hi Scrappers,

This little mini album is the latest thing I have created. Have been extremely busy working & trying to cope with this little one growing on the inside :)

I looked at all the baby albums available in the stores to buy - & they were all very generic & boring. So I decided to make my own little record book of 'BABY'S FIRSTS'...

I created this using A5 envelopes, chipboard, MME 12x12 Paper Pad, handmade embellishments that match my nursery decor & heaps of other nic-nacs I had lying around.

I started this at a scrapbook retreat in July & finished it last month. I did drag my feet a little - but it was made with 100% Love :)

So enjoy & I hope I've inspired you to create your own mini album from scratch :)

'Summer Fun' scrap page

Hey Ladies,

Here is a page I created using the 'Flower Button Set' chipboard from Words Or Whatever. I coloured these using 'Smooch' (for those of you that don't know what this is, it's a metallic/pearlised accent = Lots of colouring fun!!) This page started out as a boring line-ruled paper, & with the use of distress inks, glimmer mists, stencils & paint - it became a really bright, fun background. Above is my video as I run through how I created this masterpiece!!!

WOW - 2D Ornate Window

'Summer Fun' using Words Or Whatever FLOWER BUTTON SET

Hi Scrappers, Here is a page I created using Words Or Whatever FLOWER BUTTON SET. The background page started as a plain line ruled page - so I decided to colour it up!! Using Distress Inks, Glimmer Mist, stencils etc. I LOVE IT!!! With the Flower Button Set I used Smooch to colour the chipboard & highlight the detail on them. I have also used old book pages, Prima flowers, ZVA Creative bling swirls, Flutterby Designs Hatpins, Black bling & black acrylic paint. I have also played with my photo before it was printed. Using Photoshop, I put a retro finish over the orginal. It turned out bright & summery (if that's even a word?!) Hope I inspired you & that you can make your own paper design!!!

'Brag Book' Mini Album

Ornate Shadow Box Frame

ORNATE SHADOW BOX FRAME

In this project I used the Ornate shadow box frame & the ornamental gate piece from 'Words Or Whatever'. I have done a video explaining how I made this project. Firstly this comes flat packed - so I used Prit Glue (best glue ever!) to assemble. So grab a cuppa, sit back & take a squize at my video.
