'Love You' Scrap Page 

Here's my layout for WOW's Feb Challenge. This lovely little layout was lots of fun to do. It has heaps of layers & different elements.

It stars my little man (of course), looking very grown up!

 

 

WOW chipboard elements I've used are:

Corner arrow pack WOW1626

'YOU' using the Classic Alphabet Uppercase

Tuesday flag (custom order)

With my copic markers, I coloured in 3 of the corner arrows & a black pen to add border. I used watercolour paint on the 'Tuesday' flag & then a black pen to add a border & retraced over the letters to make it pop! With the word 'YOU', I used white paint.

CUSTOM ORDER FROM WOW!!!

 

My package arrived from 'Words or Whatever' today - cant show you the New Release' stuff, but check my custom order (I designed all the pieces) YAY!!! I am sooooo excited to get in & use it all!!!

'Say Cheese' Scrap Page

Oh my cheeky little monkey...you are too cute! This layout was fun to make - although I wasn't too sure how the brown was going to turn out, but it seem to come out ok. Very much into using my mixed media stuff at the moment!! I think I've found my niché :)

It's so free & unhibited to scrap this way! So don't be surprised to see more layouts in this style LOL!

'Little Boys' scrap page

So in my daily trolling of Pinterest, I came across a few pages pinned by others of Ebony van der Starre. I imediately went to her blog & I am SO INSPIRED & IN LOVE WITH HER WORK!!!

I've spent hours looking at her work yesterday. I found this layout & my eye was drawn straight to that Kaisercraft wood frame. Which I have had in my stash since they came out (hoarding it) & really not too sure what to do with it. I loved it so much, I wanted to create it & put my own spin on it.

'I'm 30 Just'

I can't really say it helped, but I'll get over it :)

So I've hit the big 3-0!!!

 

Tomorrow I celebrate my 30th birthday... I've been a bit reserved about hittin this one! There's alot of things I thought I would've accomplished by this milestone, but after a child-free night, great night with friends & a ridiculous amount of rum - it doesn't seem to be as daunting. As I picked my little boy up from my Mum's this morning, my anxiety melted away, because the fact of the matter is I wouldn't change one little bit! Sure, I wish I could go back & tell my 17 yr old self, not to wear your heart on your sleeve. But I clearly had to kiss all those frogs to find my prince charming & marry my best friend. I've just come to realise that yeah I would've like to have travelled a bit, but it would have been by myself - at least now I know I'll have someone at my side :)

 

So, now I just need to adjust the list to read 'In My Next 30 Years'...
